With this solution, we have completely eliminated the need for a costly and bulky compressed-air system, which carries very high operating costs. Instead, the ABEL pump uses direct electrical power, delivering a more economical solution.
FAT – A Commitment to Quality and Safety
In large-scale projects, particularly in the heavy industry sector, the FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) serves as the “final examination” to confirm the quality and safety of the equipment. For the 5 ABEL electric diaphragm pump skid units for the Multi Offshore Windfarm project, the FAT is not merely a procedure — it is a commitment.
The FAT procedure at the Thái Khương Services workshop was carried out under close supervision by both Thái Khương engineers and the client’s representatives. Each skid was comprehensively inspected — from material structure and weld accuracy to the operating performance of each pump. This FAT process ensures that:
- Performance verified: All pump technical specifications, including flow rate, head, and power, are measured and confirmed to be in compliance with the original design requirements.
- Safety ensured: The safety system, including sensors and emergency shutdown mechanisms, is thoroughly tested to ensure reliable operation in all situations.
