Finish Thompson MSDB Series Magnetic Drive Centrifugal Pump is a sealless magnetic drive centrifugal pump series (no mechanical seal) from Finish Thompson (FTI, USA). The MSDB series comprises 2 models with flow rate up to 15.66–15.7 m³/h, head up to 62.2–93.3 m, operating temperature up to None°C. Wetted materials: PVDF, PP. Magnetic coupling eliminates seal leakage — safe for corrosive and hazardous chemicals. Officially distributed in Vietnam by Thái Khương Pumps.

What head does the MSDB multistage pump achieve?
The multistage MSDB series achieves head up to ~93.3 m (MSDB3, 3 stages) and ~62 m (MSDB2, 2 stages), with a low flow rate (~16 m³/h) and pressure up to 135 psi. Suitable when high discharge head is required at moderate flow rates.
What do the names MSDB2P and MSDB3V mean?
The digit indicates the number of impeller stages: MSDB2 = 2 stages, MSDB3 = 3 stages. Material suffix: P = PP (up to 82°C), V = PVDF (up to 104°C). Example: MSDB3V = 3 stages, PVDF body.
When should MSDB be selected instead of DB?
Choose MSDB when high head (up to ~93 m) is required with low flow — spray washing, feeding through filter membranes/RO, high-pressure dosing. If only standard head is needed at higher flow rates, use the single-stage DB series.
Does the MSDB have chemical leakage?
No. MSDB is a seal-less magnetic drive pump — power is transmitted through a magnetic coupling across a sealed containment shell, with no mechanical seal and therefore no leakage. Suitable for corrosive chemicals requiring high pressure.
Is the MSDB magnetic drive pump (multistage) available in stock in Vietnam?
Thai Khuong Pumps has been the authorized representative of Finish Thompson Inc. (USA) in Vietnam since 06/2022. The HCMC warehouse keeps the common lines in stock; models not in stock are ordered from the FTI factory (Erie, Pennsylvania) with CO-CQ. Call 0941.400.488 to check stock.

Bơm dẫn động từ Finish Thompson dòng MSDB (đa cấp)

Series MSDB là bơm ly tâm dẫn động từ multistage (multistage) trên nền DB11/DB15 — cho cột áp cao, lưu lượng nhỏ dùng cho phun, lọc và cấp hóa chất. Số trong tên = số tầng cánh. Seal-less PP/PVDF, không phốt, không rò rỉ. Cột áp tới ~93,3 m, áp tới 135 psi.

Cấu tạo & nguyên lý hoạt động

  • Đa cấp (multistage): nhiều tầng cánh nối tiếp → tăng cột áp mà giữ lưu lượng nhỏ.
  • Số trong tên = số tầng: MSDB2 = 2 tầng (~62 m), MSDB3 = 3 tầng (~93 m).
  • Hậu tố vật liệu: P = PP (82°C), V = PVDF (104°C).
  • Khớp từ NdFeB seal-less — không phốt, không rò rỉ.
