Finish Thompson UC Series Magnetic Drive Centrifugal Pump is a sealless magnetic drive centrifugal pump series (no mechanical seal) from Finish Thompson (FTI, USA). The UC series comprises 7 models with flow rate up to 41.3–363.0 m³/h, head up to 35.0–65.6 m, operating temperature up to 121.0°C. Wetted materials: CFR-ETFE, ETFE-lined ductile iron, SiC, NdFeB. Magnetic coupling eliminates seal leakage — safe for corrosive and hazardous chemicals. Officially distributed in Vietnam by Thái Khương Pumps.

Which chemicals is the UltraChem (UC) pump used for?
The ETFE/Tefzel-lined UC line withstands harsh corrosive and strongly oxidizing chemicals: acids (HNO₃, H₂SO₄, HCl), sodium hypochlorite, solvents — at temperatures up to 121°C and pressures up to 300 psi. Thanks to its seal-less design, there is no leakage through a seal.
Which models are in the UC line?
The UC line comprises 7 models (UC326, UC326H, UC328, UC436, UC436L, UC1518, UC6410) with max flow from ~41 to ~363 m³/h and head up to ~65.6 m. Plus the UCP line (3 models), a cost-saving PP/ETFE version with a max temperature of 82°C.
How does UltraChem differ from a mechanically-sealed pump?
UC is a seal-less magnetic-drive pump: torque is transmitted through a magnetic coupling across a sealed containment shell, so there is no mechanical seal to leak — safe for toxic/corrosive chemicals and with almost no vapor emission. A mechanically-sealed pump can leak and requires periodic seal replacement.
Can the UC pump replace an existing ANSI pump?
Yes. UltraChem follows the ANSI/ASME B73.1 and B73.3 dimensional standards, so it is a drop-in replacement for an existing ANSI process pump — convenient when replacing a mechanically-sealed pump with a seal-less one.
Is the UltraChem (UC / UCP) magnetic-drive pump available in stock in Vietnam?
Thai Khuong Pumps has been the authorized representative of Finish Thompson Inc. (USA) in Vietnam since 06/2022. The HCMC warehouse keeps the common lines in stock; models not in stock are ordered from the FTI factory (Erie, Pennsylvania) with CO-CQ. Call 0941.400.488 to check stock.
How long is the UltraChem (UC / UCP) pump warranty?
A 12-month warranty in Vietnam through Thai Khuong Pumps (authorized Finish Thompson representative) covers material/workmanship defects when genuine spare parts are used — with parts and technical support included.
Is there a datasheet and technical support for the UC line?
Yes. A TKT engineer will send the original Finish Thompson datasheet (performance curves, dimensions, wetted materials) and advise on UC-line model selection by chemical. Click the Datasheet button on the page or call 0941.400.488.

Bơm dẫn động từ Finish Thompson dòng UltraChem (UC / UCP)

Series UltraChem (UC) là bơm ly tâm dẫn động từ (mag-drive) lót ETFE/Tefzel trên thân gang dẻo, kích thước theo chuẩn ANSI/ASME B73.1 & B73.3 — cho hóa chất ăn mòn khắc nghiệt, oxy hóa mạnh, nhiệt và áp cao. Khớp từ truyền lực qua vách ngăn kín nên không phốt cơ khí, không rò rỉ. Dải lưu lượng tới ~363 m³/h, nhiệt độ tới 121°C, áp tới 300 psi.

Cấu tạo & nguyên lý hoạt động

  • Khớp từ NdFeB truyền moment qua vách ngăn kín — bỏ phốt cơ khí, loại điểm rò rỉ và phát thải hơi hóa chất.
  • Lót ETFE/Tefzel (carbon-filled) phủ toàn bộ bề mặt ướt trên gang dẻo — chịu axit oxy hóa, dung môi, tới 121°C and 300 psi.
  • Bạc trục SiC chịu mài mòn cao, bôi trơn & làm mát bằng chính lưu chất.
  • Dimensions ANSI/ASME B73 — lắp lẫn (drop-in) với bơm process ANSI hiện hữu.

Dòng UltraChem Plus (UCP) — bản PP/ETFE tiết kiệm chi phí

UCP dùng lớp lót PP nền sợi thủy tinh + vỏ carbon-fiber, nam châm bọc PP — cùng áp 300 psi nhưng nhiệt tối đa thấp hơn (82°C). Phù hợp khi hóa chất không quá nóng và cần tối ưu chi phí.

Giải mã tên model

326=3×2/6.375in imp; 328=3x2x8; 436=4×3; 1518=1.5×1; 6410=6x4x10.

  • H: larger bearing-frame/mount config (NOT high-head; UC4310H is the exception = genuine high-head 4-pole)
  • L: lower-power/reduced-hydraulic variant of same casing size

Typical applications

Xi mạ & xử lý bề mặt, sản xuất hóa chất, bán dẫn/điện tử, xử lý nước thải công nghiệp, axit oxy hóa (HNO₃, H₂SO₄, HCl), natri hypoclorit (NaOCl), dung môi.

Tương thích hóa chất & giới hạn vận hành

Lớp lót ETFE/Tefzel chịu được phần lớn axit oxy hóa mạnh, kiềm, dung môi và hóa chất khắc nghiệt mà PP/PVDF không đáp ứng. Dòng UC xử lý lưu chất độ nhớt tới ~200 cP và tỉ trọng (SG) cao; với SG lớn cần xác nhận cấu hình nam châm phù hợp. Luôn gửi tên hóa chất, nồng độ và nhiệt độ để TKT đối chiếu bảng tương thích vật liệu của Finish Thompson.

Thay thế bơm process ANSI hiện hữu

Nhờ kích thước theo ANSI/ASME B73.1 và B73.3, bơm UltraChem lắp lẫn (drop-in) với bệ, khớp nối và đường ống của bơm process ANSI đang dùng — chuyển từ bơm phốt cơ khí sang seal-less mà không phải cải tạo lại hệ thống, giảm rủi ro rò rỉ và chi phí bảo trì phốt.

Chọn model nào?

  • High flow rate (tới ~363 m³/h): UC6410 (6×4×10).
  • High head (tới ~65,6 m): UC1518 (1.5×1).
  • Phổ biến 3×2 nhu cầu trung bình: UC326 / UC328.
  • Tối ưu chi phí, nhiệt ≤82°C: dòng UCP (lót PP/ETFE).
