The International Exhibition on the Water Industry, Water Filtration Technology and Wastewater Treatment (VIETWATER 2019) opened on 24/07/2019 at the International Exhibition Center (ICE), Hanoi. The event took place from 24 to 26 July 2019.
Attending the opening ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Dinh Toan, Deputy Minister of Construction; Mr. Cao Lai Quang, Chairman of the Vietnam Water Supply and Sewerage Association; Ms. Eliane Van Doorn, Business Development Director, UBM Asia (Southeast Asia Region); representatives from central ministries and Ho Chi Minh City; as well as a large number of water supply and drainage companies and urban environment enterprises from across the country, and central and Hanoi press agencies.
In recent years, alongside the growth of the socio-economy, the urban system has been expanding steadily in both scale and number. Along with this, the challenges facing the water sector in sustainably managing resources and treating domestic and industrial wastewater have become pressing factors for the development of both industry and urban management.
