The Gorman-Rupp 60 Series centrifugal pump is the wide-range standard centrifugal: flow to 1,544 m³/h, head to 152 m, spherical solids to 76 mm, port sizes 2" - 8", temperature to 71 °C. Cast steel and ductile iron versions serve petroleum-based liquids, which is why this line also appears in the manufacturer's petroleum literature.

Fuel depots, tank trucks & refuelling

Gorman-Rupp has built equipment for petroleum-based liquids since the 1950s. Self-priming O Series and its PTO version for refuelling trucks, the spark-arrested 80 Series Shield-A-Spark, Roto-Prime separating air continuously while offloading tank trucks, and G Series gear pumps for asphalt and heavy fuel oil.

Wastewater & lift stations

Questions frequently asked

Can the 60 Series be used for fuels?
Yes, with the cast steel or ductile iron version and seals selected for the fuel formulation. The manufacturer lists this line in petroleum brochure AV-05427. Note that the line does not self-prime, so it suits only installations where the supply tank sits above pump level. To lift from a lower tank, choose the O Series or Roto-Prime.
Is this centrifugal self-priming?
No. Standard centrifugals are not self-priming and need the casing filled with liquid before starting, usually by setting the pump below the source (flooded suction) or using a foot valve with an external priming system. If the site must lift from a pit or a tank below the pump, choose a self-priming line such as the Super T or a priming-assisted Prime Aire.

What is the warranty period?
Per the manufacturer's literature, warranty runs up to 60 months depending on the pump line (AV-05427). The term applying to each order is stated in the Thai Khuong quotation.
What information is needed for a quotation?
At minimum: required flow, total head or pipe length and elevation, fluid name and temperature, largest solids size, suction condition (tank above or below the pump), and the site's electrical supply. With these, engineers can read the curves and settle the model in one pass.

Ly tâm tiêu chuẩn của Gorman-Rupp dùng cho việc gì?

Bên cạnh các dòng tự mồi và mồi cưỡng bức, Gorman-Rupp có nhóm ly tâm tiêu chuẩn đặt ngang, dùng khi
nguồn cấp là bồn hoặc tuyến ống có áp, tức là không cần khả năng tự mồi. Bỏ được cụm mồi giúp thiết bị gọn hơn,
ít chi tiết hơn và thường cho hiệu suất cao hơn ở cùng điểm làm việc. Đây là nhóm dùng cho cấp nước quy trình,
tuần hoàn làm mát, chuyển nước trong nhà máy và các trạm bơm có hút ngập.

60 Series phục vụ cả nước và nhóm nhiên liệu

Điểm riêng của dòng 60 so với các dòng ly tâm khác của hãng là dải vật liệu. Ngoài bản gang thông thường,
dòng này có bản thép đúc và gang dẻo, và chính vì vậy 60 Series được liệt kê trong brochure
petroleum AV-05427 cùng nhóm với O Series, 80 Series và Roto-Prime. Với kho xăng dầu có bồn cao hơn cao độ bơm,
60 Series là phương án ly tâm gọn thay cho bơm tự mồi.

Dải thông số rộng

Dòng phủ cỡ họng từ 2″ đến 8″, lưu lượng tối đa 1.544 m³/h và cột áp tối đa 152 m. Cột áp 152 m là mức
cao đối với bơm ly tâm một tầng, mở ra khả năng đẩy xa hoặc lên cao mà không cần bơm nhiều tầng. Khả năng nuốt
rắn cầu 76 mm cũng cho phép làm việc với nước có tạp chất.

Lưu ý khi dùng cho lưu chất gốc dầu

Chọn bản thép đúc hoặc gang dẻo, và chốt vật liệu seal theo công thức nhiên liệu, thường là Viton hoặc
Teflon. Ngoài ra cần xác nhận phân loại vùng nguy hiểm tại vị trí lắp để chọn động cơ tương ứng. Vì dòng này
không tự mồi, phải bảo đảm bồn cấp cao hơn cao độ bơm hoặc có hệ mồi ngoài.
