Fuel depots, tank trucks & refuelling

Gorman-Rupp has built equipment for petroleum-based liquids since the 1950s. Self-priming O Series and its PTO version for refuelling trucks, the spark-arrested 80 Series Shield-A-Spark, Roto-Prime separating air continuously while offloading tank trucks, and G Series gear pumps for asphalt and heavy fuel oil.

Wastewater & lift stations

Questions frequently asked

VG or VGH?
The two versions share the hydraulic range, so selection is not by flow or head. Choose VGH for harsher operating conditions or where greater durability is needed, since it adds ductile iron and is positioned as heavy duty. Choose VG for ordinary applications in cast iron. Describe the actual operating conditions for an engineering recommendation.
Is this centrifugal self-priming?
No. Standard centrifugals are not self-priming and need the casing filled with liquid before starting, usually by setting the pump below the source (flooded suction) or using a foot valve with an external priming system. If the site must lift from a pit or a tank below the pump, choose a self-priming line such as the Super T or a priming-assisted Prime Aire.

What is the warranty period?
Per the manufacturer's literature, warranty runs up to 60 months depending on the pump line (AV-05427). The term applying to each order is stated in the Thai Khuong quotation.
What information is needed for a quotation?
At minimum: required flow, total head or pipe length and elevation, fluid name and temperature, largest solids size, suction condition (tank above or below the pump), and the site's electrical supply. With these, engineers can read the curves and settle the model in one pass.

Ly tâm tiêu chuẩn của Gorman-Rupp dùng cho việc gì?

Bên cạnh các dòng tự mồi và mồi cưỡng bức, Gorman-Rupp có nhóm ly tâm tiêu chuẩn đặt ngang, dùng khi
nguồn cấp là bồn hoặc tuyến ống có áp, tức là không cần khả năng tự mồi. Bỏ được cụm mồi giúp thiết bị gọn hơn,
ít chi tiết hơn và thường cho hiệu suất cao hơn ở cùng điểm làm việc. Đây là nhóm dùng cho cấp nước quy trình,
tuần hoàn làm mát, chuyển nước trong nhà máy và các trạm bơm có hút ngập.

VG và VGH khác nhau ở đâu

Hai bản dùng chung dải thuỷ lực: cùng lưu lượng tối đa 1.113 m³/h, cùng cột áp và cùng khả năng nuốt rắn
cầu 35 mm. Khác biệt nằm ở vật liệu và mức độ chịu tải. Bản VG thân gang cho các ứng dụng thông thường; bản
VGH là bản hạng nặng, bổ sung gang dẻo, dùng khi áp suất làm việc cao hơn hoặc điều kiện vận
hành khắc nghiệt hơn. Vì cùng dải thuỷ lực nên việc chọn giữa hai bản là chọn theo độ bền và điều kiện làm
việc, không phải theo điểm làm việc.

Dải cỡ nhỏ là điểm đáng chú ý

VG/VGH bắt đầu từ cỡ họng 1,25″, nhỏ hơn hầu hết các dòng ly tâm khác của hãng vốn bắt đầu từ 2″ hoặc 3″.
Nhờ đó dòng này phục vụ được cả những hệ nhỏ trong nhà máy mà dùng bơm cỡ lớn sẽ quá dư. Cùng lúc dải vẫn kéo
tới 8″ và 1.113 m³/h nên một dòng phủ được nhiều quy mô, thuận cho việc chuẩn hoá phụ tùng.
