Detailed Job Description
The Mechanical Application Technician — Industrial Pump position at Thái Khương Pumps is responsible for the following tasks:
- Installation and assembly of pump bases, shaft alignment of industrial pumps to manufacturer standards.
- Welding and cutting for installation of pumps and pressure piping systems (API, ASME standards where applicable).
- Repair and maintenance of industrial pumps; mechanical fabrication: center-punch marking, position locating, thread tapping, welding, and metal cutting.
- Developing construction schedules for assigned equipment in accordance with department/team timelines.
- Weekly and monthly reporting to the Team Lead and Head of Technical Department.
- Meeting KPIs set by the Head/Deputy Head of Technical Department.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 6 months – 1 year of experience in welding and assembly, pressure pipe welding, or industrial mechanical equipment maintenance.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical engineering drawings; proficient with measuring instruments.
- Self-motivated, eager to learn about new technical products (especially EU/G7 pump lines).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team; able to handle project pressure.
