The Caprari K+ submersible wastewater pump is a dedicated pump series featuring the NON-STOP clog-prevention system (combining 4 mechanisms) and channel/vortex impeller design — handling wastewater containing fibrous material and soft solids for wet wells, pump stations, and industrial estate wastewater treatment. Flow rate up to 1,600 l/s, head up to 66 m, power up to 345 kW.
Why Wastewater Frequently Causes Pump Clogging
Domestic and industrial wastewater contains fibrous material, paper, cloth, and plastic bags — standard pumps (NC, clean-water centrifugal pumps) will have their impellers clogged, causing system shutdowns. Wastewater pumps require specially designed impellers and clog-prevention mechanisms.
The K+ NON-STOP System
- 4 combined clog-prevention mechanisms + single-channel/multi-channel/vortex impeller for free-flow operation.
- IE3 motor for energy efficiency.
- Conductivity probe for motor protection (Caprari patent).
- Range: DN 40–500 mm · up to 1,600 l/s · head up to 66 m · power up to 345 kW.
Applications
- Building basement wet wells.
- Municipal wastewater pump stations.
- Industrial estate wastewater treatment (large solids → K+ NON-STOP).
⚠️ Note: Do NOT use clean-water pumps (NC/P) for wastewater. Conversely, K+ is for wastewater use only.

FAQ (schema)
How does K+ prevent clogging? The NON-STOP system combines 4 mechanisms + channel/vortex impeller — handling wastewater containing fibrous material and soft solids without clogging. Can K+ be used for clean water? No — K+ is dedicated to wastewater; clean water/fire-fighting applications use Caprari’s NC/P/E series.
