PAC, polymer, NaOCl (bleach), NaOH, H₂SO₄/HCl acid… determine pump head/diaphragm/valve material: PP·PVDF for coagulants; PVDF+PTFE+ceramic ball for NaOCl (avoid SS); PVDF/PTFE for acids.
Required dosing flow (L/h) and back pressure at injection point are the basis for selecting the line: solenoid up to ~22 L/h, mechanical diaphragm 49–1,400 L/h, piston up to 1,458 L/h (AP version up to 230 bar).

A metering pump (dosing/metering pump) is a positive displacement pump that delivers a precise chemical volume per stroke, providing stable and adjustable flow (typically 1:100 via manual adjustment or 4–20mA signal). Used for dosing coagulants, flocculants, disinfectants, pH correction chemicals, and corrosion inhibitors in water treatment, oil & gas, and industrial applications.
By drive mechanism: mechanical diaphragm (SR type D/FM — common for water treatment, 49–1.400 l/h), hydraulic diaphragm (SR type B/BR — up to 1.068 l/h, AP version up to 60 bar), piston/plunger (SR type A — up to 1.458 l/h, AP version up to 230 bar), electromagnetic solenoid (SDP-S — compact, IP65, up to 22 l/h), and API 675 pump (PDP — oil & gas, 1.5–4.000 l/h, ±1% accuracy).
